Unlike anything we have seen recently, the NBA regular season has been full of parity this year.
There could be as many as eight teams that could win the NBA championship
Looking at the Western Conference, there is only a four-game difference between fourth and 12th place.
Anyone can guess which two teams will be competing in the Finals this year.
But that does not stop the NBA world from ranking which teams are the best.
NBA analyst Tim Legler ranked his top three teams in the league.
He went with the Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, and Boston Celtics.
.@LegsESPN's top three NBA teams right now:
1. @Bucks
2. @nuggets
3. @celtics pic.twitter.com/niFywldKmh— Get Up (@GetUpESPN) March 21, 2023
Legler mentioned how he thinks Boston has some of the best depth in the NBA.
They have a star player in Jayson Tatum, and he thinks they could make another run at the Finals.
But Tatum fell apart in last year’s NBA Finals, so there has to be some concern about that.
Denver has the best record in the Western Conference and one of two favorites for league MVP.
But, they have never had playoff success, and it is anyone’s guess how they will perform against more experienced teams.
As for the Bucks, they have at least won a championship recently (2020-21 season) and they have the best record in the NBA.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is an unstoppable force, and the Bucks have a bunch of good pieces around him.
Milwaukee should probably be the favorite to win the Finals as of now.
But, once the pressure of the playoffs arises, it is anyone’s guess what might happen.
