After a down year in 2022, the Denver Broncos are optimistic about the upcoming season.
There have been several aspects of their 2022 performance that have been picked apart.
Many believe that if Russell Wilson can step his game up, the Broncos will have a better year.
Jamie Erdahl offered a piece for potential success in a recent ‘Good Morning Football’ segment.
“I’m kind of sold on Javonte Williams now,” Erdahl said.
But Erdahl also mentioned that everything ultimately falls on Russell Wilson.

Williams is entering his third NFL season and is coming off several leg injuries.
He only played in four games last year, a potential reason for the team’s lack of offensive output.
If Williams can begin the season on the field, Erdahl believes the Broncos will be better off.
Despite Erdahl expressing her belief in Williams, hoping he can play well, she also believes everything comes down to Wilson.
Wilson is the cornerstone of this offense, and as she mentions, the team invested significant capital to add him to the roster.
To best compete in a crowded AFC, the Broncos felt he was a necessary part of this offense, as they were seemingly a good quarterback away from a playoff run.
If Wilson can’t deliver a winning season in year two, several questions could be raised about his ability to lead this team.
Sean Payton was brought in an attempt to get Wilson back on track.
Payton is a well-respected coach due to his consistent success with the New Orleans Saints.
If he brings a similar mentality to the Broncos, what is this team’s ceiling?
