The Phoenix Suns went all-in in the offseason, hoping to win their very first championship in franchise history.
They’re the clear-cut favorite to go the distance out of the Western Conference if they stay healthy, and rightfully so, as there aren’t many teams that can beat Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Deandre Ayton in a seven-game series.
That’s why it wasn’t surprising to see NBA analyst Bobby Marks picking them to be in the NBA Finals next season.
However, the opponent was a big shocker, as Marks predicted they would go against the New York Knicks of all teams (via KnicksMuse).

Marks claims that there will be a clash in styles and a big difference in the way both teams were constructed.
For the Suns, obviously, all the spending and big moves they made would be more than enough to get them to the ultimate stage.
As for the Knicks, he believes continuity could take them a long way, as they’re set to field a team that will have 13 players coming back for next season, plus the big-time addition of Donte DiVincenzo.
All due respect to the Knicks, but they’re still a ways away from being NBA Finals material.
They’ve been much better since Jalen Brunson arrived, and there’s a chance they could even go deep into the postseason.
Nonetheless, it might not be enough to get over the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, or even Philadelphia 76ers, let alone beat a contender from the Western Conference.
