The Golden State Warriors will enter a new era next season.
Bob Myers’ departure after 12 years with the organization could be the beginning of the end of the dynasty.
And while he wanted to soothe things up by stating that he had the utmost confidence in the organization and the front office’s ability to keep on this good run, the belief around the league isn’t the same.
According to a recent report by Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area, the feeling in the NBA is that there’s plenty of anxiety and curiosity about what the future holds for the franchise.
“A scary thought for them."

Myers was one of the cornerstones of the organization and the dynasty, and not just because he was the guy signing the extensions and getting the deals done.
He was also a peacemaker and a helping hand every time things got out of hand, either with Steve Kerr, Draymond Green, or even owner Joe Lacob.
There haven’t been many reports — if any — about who could be Myers’ potential successor.
But whoever takes over next won’t have the same relationship Myers had with his players.
They would owe him nothing, so why would they be even willing to consider taking a pay cut or a team-friendly deal, as it’s been rumored with Draymond Green and Klay Thompson?
The Warriors also have Jordan Poole’s huge contract and some decisions to make about their young players, and whoever takes over will be put under a lot of pressure from day one.
