The Miami Heat have shown plenty of fight throughout the course of the playoffs.
They’ve defied the odds and proved that they’re no ordinary No. 8 seed, taking down the two leading candidates out of the Eastern Conference en route to their second NBA Finals appearance in the past four years.
But as great as they’ve been in the postseason, some might think they’ve already maxed out.
That’s why even though he doesn’t like to talk about sweeps, Jay Williams believes that’s a legit possibility in the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
“I think a sweep is on the table.”

Williams and the Key, Jay, and Max crew debated whether the Nuggets could take the Heat down in just four games, citing that they’re just a better team with plenty of shooting and that the battle in the paint should also favor the No. 1 team in the West.
Truth be told, there’s no reason to think the Nuggets can’t handle the Heat in just four games.
They did sweep LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
They had over a week to rest, regroup, restore, and get ready for whatever they had to face at this stage.
And they’ll have at least two games in Colorado’s thin air, which could be a massive factor when tired legs hit at this point in the season.
Then again, this Heat team has proven over and over that they cannot and should not be counted out under any circumstances, and we know anything can happen in a seven-game series.
