Rivalries are one of the best aspects of sports.
When two teams don’t like each other, it makes for some fun storylines.
A new rivalry may have emerged last night in the American League East.
That division is well known for the rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
But last night, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles got into it after former Blue Jay Bryan Baker struck out Matt Chapman in the top of the seventh.
As Chapman turned around to walk back to the dugout, Baker seemed to be having words with Teoscar Hernandez, which prompted the benches to clear.
Benches cleared in Baltimore.

Tensions Rise In Baltimore
It may not have been a full-scale brawl or anything like that, but tempers did flare.
Players from both sides had to hold back Hernandez and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as they tried to walk towards Baker.
This could be an interesting rivalry to watch down the stretch.
These two teams both missed the postseason last year and are now fighting against each other for the final AL Wild Card spot.
This is a great time for a new rivalry to start brewing.
This is when things get interesting.
After competing against each other for much of the season, it appears that the Jays and Orioles have had just about enough of each other.
Baltimore trails Toronto by 3.5 games for the final Wild Card spot.
The Orioles have been a surprise to many this season and are still very much alive in the postseason chase.
So naturally, when two teams are competing against each other, there may be some bad blood.
We’ll see how things shake out the rest of the way, but one thing is clear.
These two teams do not like each other, and a new rivalry could be emerging.
