Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard has big shoes to fill.
Davante Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders after spending eight seasons in Green Bay.
His departure means that Lazard must step up as one of the team’s primary receivers.
It’s his opportunity to show that he can still elevate his game.
Playing with reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers does help in his improvement.
But you have to love his attitude of not succumbing to pressure.

He tweeted, “I Got Some Weight On My Shoulders, To Me It’s Like Feathers.”
While Rodgers does give them a chance to win every game, he will have to call on Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Sammy Watkins to complete the plays.
But if Lazard has a wish, he would like to have a long-term contract from the Packers.
However, what was given to him was a one-year restricted free agent tender.
Details Of Lazard’s Contract
In March, the Packers placed a second-round tender on Lazard that will pay him $3.98 million in 2022.
His options were limited because failing to sign the tender by June 15 would reduce his salary to $935,000.
It made sense for him to sign the tender before the deadline.
He must prove himself first as the top receiver before he can rightfully demand a larger deal.
With the spotlight now turned on him, this season will be an audition for the multi-year contract he desires.
Doing well makes it a no-brainer for the Packers to give him a lengthier contract.
Therefore, he must make the 2022 season his best as a football player.
