The NFL is the most popular sport in America.
No matter what day of the week it is, if there are NFL games on people will be watching.
But, Thursday Night Football games have taken on a new look.
Last season was the first year that Thursday night games would be on Amazon Prime.
Now that service is back with the games for a second year.
Many fans have complained in the past about how bad the Thursday night games were.
The NFL did a poor job of scheduling compelling games.
But that does not seem to be the case in 2023.
Thursday Night Football commentator Al Michaels said the TNF schedule “looks great on paper.”
"The Thursday Night Football schedule looks great on paper..
The matchups look much better than last year and hopefully these games will be compelling"

The games are not played on paper, but you can tell which teams are expected to be good next season.
Most of the top teams in the league are featured on Thursday Night Football.
Also, there are some very good rivalry matchups.
The hope is that this TNF slate will be as advertised and the games will be well worth watching.
Some fans are not able to see the Thursday night games if they do not own Amazon Prime.
That is why Amazon hopes these matchups will get more people to sign up for their streaming service.
The NFL will remain one of the most-watched shows on TV.
But, it will be interesting to see if there is the same level of interest for Thursday games.
