NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is feeling the heat from the Phoenix Suns situation.
Silver has a mess on his hands right now after an investigation found that Suns owner Robert Sarver used offensive, racist, and sexist language and actions over the years.
The report from the investigation was bad and it put Sarver in a horrible light.
To punish him, Silver and the NBA decided to suspend Sarver for a year and fine him $10 million.
But that judgment is receiving a lot of pushback and it’s causing Silver to speak up.

Silver only made the matter more complicated the other day when he spoke about Sarver’s actions.
“I was in disbelief about what I learned that had transpired over the last 18 years in the Suns organization,” Silver said about the report’s findings.
This statement comes across as insincere to some since Silver decided on a ruling that feels slight.
Did Silver just make this situation even worse for himself?
Drama About His Disbelief
There are quite a few fans wondering how Silver could feel such disbelief and shock about Sarver’s actions.
If he was so outraged, wouldn’t the punishment against Sarver be even worse?
Some feel that the NBA Commissioner is trying to save face now that the pushback has begun.
If he is, he’s not doing a great job at it.
His latest press conference was filled with hard-hitting questions and a few lacking responses from Silver.
The league is not doing a good job at addressing concerns from players, fans, and NBA reporters.
That means that this isn’t going away and will only demand more from Silver in the future.
