The New York Jets entered the season with more hopes and expectations than ever, but Aaron Rodgers could only stay on the field for a handful of plays.
The veteran quarterback will miss the whole season with an Achilles injury, obviously giving their aspirations a massive blow.
Fortunately for the team, it seems like everything’s going right on schedule for their future Hall of Famer.
In his latest appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers talked about how there have been some good days and bad days, but confirmed that everything’s going well with his rehab process.

Needless to say, there are plenty of concerns regarding his future in the league.
He’s not getting any younger, and most analysts predicted he would only be with the Jets for one or two years before calling it quits.
Not many players are able to come back from such a delicate injury and get back to their former level, let alone at such a mature age.
Zach Wilson hasn’t done the best job of holding down the fort for him, going 0-2 in his two starts this season after getting the win in the season opener.
The Jets continue to have one of the best defenses in the game, and even despite their offensive woes, it seems like they could have a small chance of reaching the postseason.
Nonetheless, that’s going to be an uphill battle without their veteran quarterback behind center, and they might need to consider digging deep into the trade market to find a more fitting replacement.
