Aaron Rodgers‘ future with the Green Bay Packers was in jeopardy this offseason.
There was that lengthy Instagram post wherein he was thanking his teammates and coaches.
The last photo was particularly intriguing because it showed the spot where he would normally stand during pre-game activities.
It was rumored that Rodgers might jump ship to the Denver Broncos to join his former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
But he laid doubts to rest when he signed a three-year, $150 million contract to remain with the team.
That deal makes him the highest-paid player in the NFL.
More importantly, he could end his career playing for just one franchise.
Even he would like that scenario to happen.

Rodgers doesn’t see himself playing anywhere than in Green Bay.
He is aware that the end of his career is approaching and he would like to make the most out of it.
The reigning league MVP would like to give his best to the franchise that drafted him in 2005 when he was the only player left in the green room.
He would like to deliver another Super Bowl for the franchise, a feat that he has done during the 2010 season.
Amidst his frustrations with the Packers front office regarding the team’s disregard in dealing with high-character guys, he stayed on.
A Different Look For The Packers
While the Packers are still favorites to win the NFC North, the road might not be easy without Davante Adams.
The All-Pro wideout was Rodgers’ primary target since 2014 and their partnership brought success to their cause.
Now, Adams will be playing for the Las Vegas Raiders after a trade and a signing of a five-year, $141.25 million contract.
There’s no merit in looking back and Rodgers must continue to lead the offense even without one of their stars.
Still, their unit remains solid with him, Aaron Jones, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, and Christian Watson.
