Could this tweet by NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo indicate that reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers is leaning towards a return to the Green Bay Packers?
Asked about @RapSheet's report he stayed in the #Packers' building for a few days after the season, Aaron Rodgers says on @PatMcAfeeShow his meetings with the front office were "much different than they've been in the past, in a positive way. Honest conversations I appreciated."

Garafolo took a snippet from Rodgers’ recent interview on The Pat McAfee Show that discussed his lengthy Instagram appreciation post and updates about his life.
But when Rodgers was asked on the program about Ian Rapoport’s scoop that he stayed in the Packers facility for a number of days after the season, the four-time NFL MVP answered in a good light for the Green Bay faithful.
Rodgers said that his meetings with the front office were “much different than they’ve been in the past, in a positive way. Honest conversations I appreciated.”
If that’s the case, there’s no way that Rodgers will switch his Packers uniform for another team, right?
Still, his words aren’t conclusive of what he might do next.
All’s Well That Ends Well In Green Bay
Before the 2021 season, Rodgers had a memorable press conference wherein he laid out his wishes and called out Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst.
He mentioned his willingness to help in front office decisions regarding personnel, but not to the point that he will have the final say.
Instead, he would like the franchise to hear out his opinions regarding the players they will bring in.
That said, he didn’t like how Gutekunst unceremoniously ended the tenure of some high-character veterans in Green Bay.
But from that tumultuous moment, it seems like both sides have agreed to see eye-to-eye.
Rodgers even thanked Gutekunst during his MVP acceptance speech at NFL Honors, which no one saw happening by a mile.
If the conversations turned out to be positive, then the most positive option for the Packers among Rodgers’ choices is a return to Green Bay.
Judging on Rodgers’ response, he might sign his final deal with the team before he ultimately retires for good.
