On Wednesday, Aaron Judge may have had the game of his life when he hit three home runs against the surging Washington Nationals.
In fact, it was the first time in his career that he had hit three home runs in a single game.
Today, Judge stayed hot and hit a home run in his first at-bat to give the New York Yankees an early 1-0 lead against the Nats.
It was his fourth home run in his last five at-bats.
On Twitter, MLB Network took note of this momentous occasion and illustrated just how hot the reigning American League MVP has been at the plate.

This is certainly a good start to Thursday’s game for Judge.
The home run was Judge’s 28th blast of the season.
Last year, the veteran slugger hit 62 dingers, breaking the single-season record in the American League that was previously held by Roger Maris, a Yankee legend in his own right.
The Yankees captain has had a season marred by multiple injuries.
But when healthy, Judge has proven to be as big of a threat as anybody in the Yankees lineup.
A hot Judge is a good sign for the Yankees after they had previously lost nine games in a row.
If Judge can hit at the pace he was hitting home runs at late last season, then the Yankees may have a chance to pull themselves out of their rut and make a run at the postseason.
Either way, Judge is on fire right now and continued his impressive pace on Thursday afternoon with yet another home run.
