The season series between the Houston Astros and the New York Yankees is complete.
It ended last night as the Astros swept a day-night doubleheader against the Bronx Bombers and ultimately won five out of seven against them.
Houston won yesterday’s games by finals of 3-2 and 7-5.
In fact, according to Astros insider Chandler Rome on Twitter, the Yankees only led against the Astros during the season series after Aaron Judge had two separate walk-off hits.
Houston outscored the Yankees 27-22 in the season series and only trailed after Judge’s game-winning hits, which in simpler terms could mean that the key to beating the Astros is in fact Judge.
The Astros finished 5-2 against the Yankees in their regular-season series and outscored them 27-22. The two Yankees wins were walk-offs by Aaron Judge. Other than after the two walk-offs, the Astros did not trail at any point in the seven games.

Owning The Astros
There’s definitely a little truth to this.
Other than the moments after the Yankees had rallied and ultimately walked off the Astros at Yankee Stadium, the Yankees never led.
Judge appears to be the one Yankee that the Astros have been unable to contain at this point.
In yesterday’s two games, Judge had just one hit.
He made that hit count though, as it was a three-run home run off of Brandon Bielak that brought the Bronx Bombers to within two runs of the Astros.
It wasn’t enough obviously, but it was further proof that Judge has been a thorn in the Astros’ side all season long.
Though the Astros were able to contain the rest of the Yankee lineup, Judge was an exception to the rule.
Granted, the AL MVP favorite has been a thorn in every team’s side, but it appears that him being hot and hitting home runs is the key for the Yankees to beat the Astros this season.
