Aaron Judge gave the New York Yankees and their fans a moment to remember yesterday afternoon.
After the Yankees had been trailing for most of the game, the bats woke up.
New York was on the verge of being no-hit for the second day in a row before Giancarlo Stanton stepped up in the bottom of the seventh and hit a home run to break it up.
In the bottom of the tenth, Judge hit a three-run walk-off homer to give the game a storybook finish.
So, it was only fair that after the game, Judge gave his bat to filmmaker and New York Sports superfan Spike Lee.
MLB Europe tweeted a video of the nice moment where Lee received Judge’s home run bat.

Spike Lee Gets A Gift
Spike Lee has infiltrated many parts of pop culture and society.
He’s already an impressive filmmaker, but he’s been a New York Sports fanatic for decades.
He certainly has a good collection of New York Sports memorabilia, but this just adds to it.
It’s nice of Judge to think of him and to give him a little gift to celebrate the Yankees’ win.
Lee was certainly just as excited, if not more so than the rest of the Yankees fans in attendance for yesterday’s game.
Now, he can be even more excited, because Judge gave him a nice little gift to celebrate.
It’s moments like these that make you appreciate the little things in sports, where players take their time to give back to the fans.
You can bet Lee will enjoy this gift for a long time.
One more piece of memorabilia certainly can’t hurt as Lee continues to show his unwavering support for his hometown teams.
