The New York Yankees are on a war path, having won their last 11 games.
Their win streak is reminiscent of the St. Louis Cardinals’ 17-game streak at the end of last season.
The Yankees have been so hot thanks in part to two of their best power hitters.
Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo have carried this team early on.
They have the best record in all of baseball at 18-6.
But Judge and Rizzo have led the way for the red-hot Yankees.
In fact, the two teammates are tied for the American League lead in home runs and are chasing a pair of Yankees legends in Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, who were the last two Yankees players to finish tied for the league lead in homers all the way back in 1931.

Bash Brothers 2.0?
The Yankees are no stranger to making history.
After all, this team has the most World Series championships of any team in all of baseball: 27.
They have started hot and look to be a team that could put up some historic numbers as the season progresses.
There’s a lot to look forward to if you’re a Yankees fan.
But Judge and Rizzo are forming a deadly one-two punch in a powerful New York lineup.
These are two guys who appear to be finding their form again after injuries and inconsistencies derailed them.
Rizzo is taking advantage of the short right field porch at Yankee Stadium and is looking like the Anthony Rizzo of old.
Judge has returned to his 2017 form in which he hit 52 home runs as a rookie.
If these two sluggers stay hot, the sky is the limit for this vaunted Yankees ballclub in 2022.
