It’s been a great couple of months for Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
Following his historic run in the playoffs, capped off with an NBA Finals MVP award and his very first championship, the Serbian flew back home to be around those he loves the most: his horses.
Notably, his teammate Aaron Gordon decided to pay him a visit to cheer for him and his horse in a race.
That’s why he took to Instagram to brag about how well Jokic is doing right now, stating that he just can’t stop winning right now (via ClutchPoints).

Well, winners win, and Jokic is most definitely a winner.
The Nuggets will continue to be one of the driving forces of the league for as long as he’s out there and healthy.
Losing Bruce Brown will obviously be a major blow to their aspirations, but at least they have Christian Braun, who looks more than ready to pick up the slack and get as many minutes as coach Malone can give him.
Likewise, as big a blow as losing Brown was, the Nuggets can still rest assured that they’ll have their championship core together for at least the next couple of seasons.
Michael Porter Jr., Gordon, Jamal Murray, and Jokic are all under contract, and there’s no reason to think any of them would ever look to switch sides.
Jokic is on a roll and a great streak right now, so you better not sleep on the reigning champions next season.
