The Los Angeles Rams are targeting their second straight Super Bowl victory in 2022.
It’s difficult to see them winning again without three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald.
The defensive tackle contemplated retirement after the Rams won Super Bowl LVI.
Luckily for the franchise, he decided to return after receiving more guaranteed money in his existing contract.
With him leading the push from the front, the Rams defense will once again be elite.
In some ways, he is like a cheat code because it takes multiple offensive linemen to stop him at times.
Speaking of which, it’s just right for him to receive Madden NFL 23’s highest honor.

NFL insider Dov Kleiman revealed that Donald is a member of the prestigious 99 Club.
He joins Davante Adams and Myles Garrett in that exclusive group and he is set to receive his 99 Club gold chain and trophy.
It will be the sixth time that Donald received that rating and deservingly so.
He dominated the opposition last year to earn another First-Team All-Pro inclusion.
Donald was also an unstoppable force during the playoffs, especially in his game-saving stop against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Since he is showing no signs of slowing down, there’s no reason to reduce his Madden rating as well.
More 99 Club Members From The Rams?
Aside from Donald, cornerback Jalen Ramsey has experienced getting a 99 rating.
He’s not there yet as of writing but could reach that number once EA Sports developers adjust the ratings during the season.
Likewise, Cooper Kupp currently has a rating of 98.
If he continues his stellar pace from last season, he will likely receive a 99 as well.
Having three potential members to the 99 Club indicates that the Rams are one of the teams to beat.
After all, their ratings are a reflection of their in-game dominance.
