The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers faced off on Sunday night in a preseason game that found the Lakers get their only preseason win so far.
The team was playing quite well against the reigning champions.
And one young star was particularly impressive.

Everyone knows that Stephen Curry is one of the greatest basketball players of all time and easily one of the best in the league right now.
That’s why Austin Reaves being able to move past the future Hall of Famer was so stunning.
After receiving the ball from Anthony Davis, Reaves thought about putting up a shot but then instead made his way toward the basket, where he lost Curry and was able to create an impressive dunk.
Reaves has been doing great work during the preseason and it’s causing some to think he’s on the verge of a huge, breakout season.
Reaves Weaves To The Basket
Being able to get past Curry and make such a powerful play is just one thing to be proud of.
But Reaves has been doing multiple big things for the last few games.
The man has been creating great buckets and has also been an assist machine.
He’s acted as a wonderful facilitator for multiple games now, playing particularly well with LeBron James and Kendrick Nunn.
Reaves was a fan favorite last season but he didn’t get a whole lot of time on the floor.
The time he did was great, though, including a shocking buzzer-beater three against the Dallas Mavericks.
2022-23 could be even better than last season for Reaves especially if he continues to work so well with the rest of his squad.
