A birthday is always a cause for celebration, no matter if the person observing it is just a regular, everyday citizen or an NBA superstar.
However, when a basketball player has their special day, it is a reminder of just how accomplished these people can be even at such a young age.

For example, Josh Giddey of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s birthday is October 10 and people across the league are celebrating and praising him.
The young OKC phenom is turning just 20 years old.
He isn’t even old enough to drink in the United States but he is already one of the best young players in the league and is building a career anyone would be very proud of.
Giddey In OKC
During his rookie year in 2021-22, Giddey put up 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists.
He was without a doubt one of the most exciting newcomers in the NBA, even though his Thunder still struggled and didn’t even come close to the playoffs.
With his size, his speed, and his shooting ability (41.9% from the field), Giddey could definitely lead the Thunder – or any team – in the future.
Plus, he is so young which means that he still has plenty of time to grow and find new depths and dimensions to his skills.
Giddey’s second season will be difficult: the Thunder will be missing their newest rookie, Chet Holmgren, and will likely struggle all year long.
The Finals aren’t right around the corner for Giddey but he will still certainly produce some highlights in 2022-23.
In a few years, if everything goes right for the Thunder, he might be able to become a force in the postseason too.
