When two brothers play in Major League Baseball, fans always wait in anticipation to see them reunite on the field of play and share a nice moment together.

Earlier this season, when the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs were about to face off in a game, brothers Willson and William Contreras delivered the lineup cards for each team and shared a hug before heading back to their dugouts.

That was a great moment, but an even better moment is about to take place in Los Angeles.

Both brothers have been selected to the National League All-Star squad, marking the first time since 2003 that two brothers will be on the same All-Star roster.

MLB tweeted a graphic which features the two brothers hugging from earlier in the season.

For the first time since 2003, there's a pair of brothers in the #AllStarGame in Willson and William Contreras. This is awesome. https://t.co/4xMvCfCLsB pic.twitter.com/r7rZWO78P0

Brothers Making History

This is a great moment.

Anytime two brothers get a chance to play for the same All-Star team, it’s something to behold.

Both players are solid catchers in their own rights, but now they have a chance to share a memory together.

All the hard work, the love, the support, and everything else will finally be rewarded next Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Aaron and Brett Boone were the last pair of brothers to appear on an All-Star roster together.

Now, here Willson and William are, ready to share a moment that they will never forget for the rest of their lives.

You can bet Willson is proud of his younger brother and all of the hard work he’s put in.

You can also bet that it will be an emotional moment, one where the two of them hug it out and generate some wholesome All-Star Game content.
