
The World Baseball Classic is in full swing, and things are starting to get interesting.
Each team remaining in the tournament is full of several MLB stars who want nothing more than to bring a WBC title back to their home countries.
And we’ve got another wild weekend of baseball in store for us.
The quarterfinals will conclude and the semifinals will soon begin.
There are two quarterfinal matchups that have yet to be played.
All the excitement begins again on Friday night.
On Twitter, the official account for the WBC posted a graphic featuring the results of some quarterfinal matchups and the remaining schedule for the tournament.

Quarterfinals 1 and 2 are already complete.
In quarterfinal 1, Cuba eliminated Australia, while quarterfinal 2 saw Japan take care of Italy.
Quarterfinal 4 will take place on Friday as Puerto Rico and Mexico square off.
The winner of that game will advance to play Japan in semifinal 2, which will get underway on Monday, March 20.
Quarterfinal 3 takes place on Saturday night.
Team USA will face off against the undefeated Team Venezuela.
Venezuela will look to knock off the defending champions and advance to semifinal 1, where the winner will meet Team Cuba.
The championship game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21.
There is a lot of exciting baseball yet to be played, and all of the excitement will continue on Friday night.
Could Team USA pull off an upset and defeat Venezuela?
Perhaps Puerto Rico could overcome the devastating loss of Edwin Diaz and defeat the red-hot Team Mexico.
Only time will tell.
