The MLB community consists of players, managers, coaches, staffers, front office members, owners, agents, media, and fans.
Each and every one of those figures has a key role in developing and promoting the game we all love.
Fans are extremely important because without them, the show wouldn’t have a crowd to cheer or criticize.
The New York Mets have one of the most passionate fan bases in baseball.
They love their team and are there to support it through thick and thin.
It doesn’t matter if it is regular season baseball, postseason games or just spring training: you will always find Mets fans cheering.
That was the case in Jupiter, at spring training.
“There was a Mets fan behind their dugout today in Jupiter who was relentlessly cheering them on all afternoon, often the only voice emerging from the crowd. You could hear him from anywhere in the stands. Buck Showalter gave him a lineup card. ‘He deserved it,’ he said,” Mets insider Tim Healey tweeted.

You can’t say that Mets fans don’t suffer or get excited with their team!

Mets manager Buck Showalter, classy as he is, had the nice gesture of giving him a lineup card.
Baseball just gifted us a must-see moment, even in spring training.
That fan drove to Jupiter to see a “meaningless” spring training game and went home with a nice reminder of what it means to be a fan.
It was a cool moment for everyone involved.
