There are many opinions about Patrick Beverley of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Ever since Beverley was sent to the Lakers, people have been spouting their thoughts about Beverley, his past, his skills, and what he can bring to the team.
Some people think trading for him was a huge mistake by LA while others think he could inject something lively and needed into the troubled team.
Shaq:
“I’ve got nothing bad to say about [Patrick Beverley]. Know why? He play the game like it’s supposed to be played. Not these dudes making $200-300M and can’t play at all.”

Shaquille O’Neal is very supportive of Beverley to LA and he thinks he could do good things for his former team.
“I’ve got nothing bad to say about [Patrick Beverley]. Know why? He play the game like it’s supposed to be played. Not these dudes making $200-300M and can’t play at all,” O’Neal said.
Your view of Beverley may differ from O’Neal’s but you must admit that the athlete really does play the game with some serious heart – sometimes to a fault.
What Beverley Brings
In terms of points and rebounds and assists, Beverley is a good player but doesn’t eclipse others on the team, such as LeBron James.
But when it comes to the fire in his belly and his drive and desire to perform, Beverley really can rival almost anyone else in the league.
This must-win attitude from Beverley has ruffled many feathers over the years because he isn’t afraid to get in someone’s face and say what he feels.
He often comes across as aggressive, cocky, and obnoxious.
But he also gets results too and can make an impact on his team and light a fire under their feet, encouraging and motivating them to play better.
He doesn’t have the biggest paycheck or the most skills but he has something very unique that the Lakers need.
