The Sacramento Kings have been having a hard time for a long time.
At this point, the Kings are known as the most troubled team in the league and they have been for nearly two decades.
It’s been ages since fans of the Kings have been able to see their team make the playoffs.
In fact, it’s been so long that even the most devoted fanatic has pretty much given up on the idea of them winning a title any time soon.
INSANE: No active NBA player has ever faced the Sacramento Kings in the playoffs.

Here’s a wild fact: no active NBA player has ever faced off against the Kings in the playoffs.
Wow, that is quite the statistic and one that is both shameful and not very surprising.
When will it change and when will Kings fans have reason to believe again?
Sad Sacramento
The Kings last made the playoffs back in 2006, when they lost in the first round.
That followed many years of making the postseason.
In fact, they got to the playoffs for eight years in a row although they typically didn’t find much success.
They are currently in the midst of the longest playoff drought in NBA history and it remains to be seen when that will end.
The team is undergoing some major changes: they got a new, well-respected head coach (and coaching staff) and they have acquired some great talent in the last few months via trades and the draft.
This is all leading Kings fans to think that maybe, just maybe, their team has a chance this year.
They definitely won’t win the Finals or even get close but they could perhaps make the playoffs again and that alone would be a huge victory.
