Close, but no cigar!
The San Francisco Giants appeared to have made one of the biggest additions of the offseason when they agreed to terms with veteran shortstop Carlos Correa on a 13-year, $350 million contract.
However, a red flag popped up in his physical, which allowed the New York Mets to step in and steal him away from the Giants.
The Mets have also raised concerns over the two-time All-Star’s physical.
Needless to say, Giants fans are pretty upset that the front office failed to close the deal with Correa.
But during the holidays, a certain Giants fan had a little fun with the situation, posting a video of Correa’s “highlights” with the team, a video which shows absolutely nothing, as you may have guessed.

At least this Giants fan is trying to have a little bit of fun and ease the pain a bit.
Most, if not all of San Francisco is quite frustrated with President of Baseball Operations Farhan Zaidi, and the same can likely be said for this fan.
Still, it’s better to try and ease the pain a little as opposed to wallowing in it.
Soon, the Mets may have their own depressing tale to tell about the situation, as they sit in a similar situation that the Giants were in when concerns first arose over his right ankle.
As of now, the Giants and their fans are still sitting with the disappointment of losing Correa to the Mets at the last second.
