On Thursday, MLB The Show completed its list of new “legends” players that have been added to the game for 2023.
Stars such as Carlos Pena, Mike Lowell, Ian Kinsler, and Mo Vaughn were added to the game.
But another MLB legend has also been added.
This new legend is a former Cy Young, three-time All-Star, and two-time World Series champion.
He played the vast majority of his career with the San Diego Padres, but also spent time with the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, and San Francisco Giants.
This new addition is none other than Jake Peavy.
On Twitter, MLB The Show announced the news of this addition to the 2023 rendition of the hit video game.

Peavy had a very solid career, pitching 15 seasons in Major League Baseball.
Over those 15 seasons, the veteran right-hander won 152 games and posted a WAR of 39.2 and a WHIP of 1.196.
He also struck out 2,207 batters in 2,377 innings of work.
The right-hander started Game 3 of the World Series for the Red Sox in 2013.
Boston defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in six games.
One year later, Peavy was traded from the Red Sox to the Giants and played a key role in the team winning its third World Series title in a five-year span.
However, his best days came in San Diego.
His best season came in 2007, when he won 19 games in 34 starts and posted an ERA of 2.54, which earned him his Cy Young Award.
Peavy should be a great addition to the game, which will release on March 28.
