Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors showed up to play on Sunday afternoon.
Curry led his Warriors to a massive 120-100 win over the Sacramento Kings, pushing them into the second round of the playoffs.
Curry was a monster on the court, posting 50 points and again reminding people of how special he is.
On Monday morning, Jay Williams commented on Curry’s masterclass of basketball magic.
Williams said:
“The conversation looming around him, ‘Is he the greatest PG to ever play?’ And what I say is, no, don’t diminish his ability like that. He’s not in a box. He’s one of the greatest playmakers the game of basketball has ever seen.”

As this season went on and the Warriors experienced many problems, there were numerous people who said that if Curry was able to turn his team’s chances around, it would be a testament to his out-of-this-world skills.
Sure enough, that is exactly what happened.
While there were more factors at work than just Curry throughout this series, he was once again the leader his team needed.
And that is why people are again talking about him being one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.
With four rings, Curry is hoping to add another to his collection at the end of this postseason.
His team is getting hot at the right time and they obviously have the experience and expertise to do so.
They are, after all, still the reigning champions of the league.
Next up for Curry and the Warriors are the Los Angeles Lakers.
That means that they will be battling against LeBron James, who also has four rings and would love to secure another.
The ratings for this next series will be massive, as will the interest around it.
And the conversation about Curry’s greatness will surely continue.
