The Milwaukee Bucks got some bad news on Thursday night, as Giannis Antetokounmpo left the game with an injured wrist.
It’s not clear how long he’ll be out – or if he will miss the All-Star Game this weekend.
But the Bucks were able to still pull off a definitive 112-100 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.
And it was mostly because of their powerful, proven, impressive big man who has been dominant all season.

Brook Lopez went wild during the win, scoring 33 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
He also sank 3 three-pointers as well.
Other players on the team, like Jevon Carter, Jrue Holiday, and AJ Green helped the Bucks but it was Lopez’s night.
It was just the latest in a long string of big games for Lopez.
The big man known as “Splash Mountain” is now playing his 15th season in the NBA and is producing 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
This season, he is averaging 50.7% from the field too.
2022-23 is a true return to form for Lopez, who missed nearly all of last season because of injury and only played in just 13 games for his Bucks.
Now he’s back and Milwaukee is looking as good as they were when they won the championship a couple of seasons ago.
That is no coincidence.
The fact that the Bucks were able to win without Antetokounmpo is very impressive.
Some teams aren’t able to achieve victory when their biggest star is on the bench.
But when players like Lopez are ready and willing to do whatever it takes, victory is still possible.
