The Milwaukee Bucks are best known for their biggest star, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The two-time MVP might be on his way to yet another coveted trophy and, more importantly, possibly another Finals MVP too.
But he’s not the only powerful player who populates the team.
On Thursday night, the Bucks were without Antetokounmpo but they still acquired a 118-113 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
This was partly due to the hard work and amazing skill of Brook Lopez.
As highlighted by Hoop Central, Lopez put up 24 points, 10 rebounds, 9 blocks, 3 assists, and 1 steal on a 50% field goal percentage during the team’s victory over Brooklyn.

Those are very strong numbers from Lopez.
Anyone paying attention to the star center shouldn’t be surprised.
This season, his 15th in the NBA, is one of his best in years.
He is averaging 15.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists a game.
His field goal percentage, 51.4%, is his best since the 2013-14 season and he’s blocking the most shots of his career too.
Lopez missed out on nearly all of last season because of an injury and he has come back with something to prove.
It’s not a shock to see his team’s chances improve now that he’s back and playing regularly.
Lopez has been playing so well this year that some people are talking about him as a possible Defensive Player of the Year winner.
The competition for that trophy is tough but Lopez should certainly be part of the conversation.
Followers of the Bucks are excited to see what Lopez can do for the team in the weeks ahead.
