The NBA season has officially come to an end for the Philadelphia 76ers.
On Thursday night, the team fell to the Miami Heat, 99-90, in Game 6.
That means that the 76ers are now out of the playoffs after losing the series 4-2, a sad and somewhat surprising conclusion to the season.
Fans of the team are already steaming mad and trying to figure out how to make Philadelphia better and more competitive.
Fire Doc Rivers. Hire Jay Wright.

James Seltzer immediately hopped on Twitter after Philly’s defeat and made a simple demand: “Fire Doc Rivers. Hire Jay Wright.”
The idea of letting Rivers go and signing the former Villanova University coach isn’t new but it’s gaining a lot more support following the 76ers’ exit from the postseason.
Doc’s Days Are Done?
Rivers was brought in as head coach for the 76ers in October of 2020.
Since then, the results have been decidedly mixed.
The team was pushed out of the semifinals last year to the Atlanta Hawks.
This year, it was the Heat that sealed their fate.
Both seasons, fans were eager and certain that their team had what it took to at least make the Eastern Finals.
And both seasons, those same fans walked away disappointed.
While the roster is certainly needing some tweaks (James Harden has been a disappointment to many), Rivers is receiving most of the blame for the poor performance of the team.
With a player like Joel Embiid, there are plenty of people who think the 76ers should be doing far better than they are.
There have been rumors about Rivers being fired for a few months now, with speculation that perhaps he would join the Los Angeles Lakers or another NBA team.
The next few months could be very interesting for the 76ers.
