Expectations for James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers have never been higher.
He hasn’t even been with Philly for an entire season yet but there are many fans assuming that he will help lead the team to the Finals in the 2022-23 season.
One of the reasons people are predicting that is because Harden himself has suggested that it’s happening, saying he is doing whatever it takes to get the team over the hump and to that level of competitiveness.

His first stretch of time with the 76ers was a bit of a letdown but fans are still very enthusiastic about Harden.
The team wished Harden a happy birthday on Friday, tweeting an image of the 33-year-old.
Millions of fans are wishing Harden well on his big day – but they’re also going to be very disappointed if he doesn’t follow through on his promise.
Hooray For Harden
In his first year with the 76ers, Harden averaged 21 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 10.5 assists.
Those are good numbers, without a doubt, but they didn’t get the team into the Finals as fans wanted.
In the last few months, Harden has seemingly turned a page and is doubling down on his desire to get the 76ers to a whole new level.
He has agreed to a pay cut in his contract, he’s been to the gym often – even with someone of his teammates – and he’s made multiple public statements about his willingness to try harder than ever before.
This is a side of Harden we rarely ever see and it suggests that maybe he really can help his squad reach their goals.
Harden seems ready and he seems serious – will that result in unparalleled success for the 76ers?
