Which NFL team will it be this week?
Every week of the NFL season there are multiple upsets.
Some can be predicted and others come out of nowhere.
As always the spreads will predict which teams are favorites and which are underdogs.
So here are the three teams on upset alert in Week 5.
New England Patriots
After a devastating overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers last week, the Patriots are home favorites in Week 5.
They host the 1-3 Detroit Lions in a tough interconference battle.
But, the Patriots are catching the Lions at the wrong time.
Detroit is the highest-scoring offense in the NFL through four weeks.
Jared Goff and company are playing at a high-level averaging 35.0 points per game.

The Patriots will have a tough time keeping up with that amount of scoring.
Especially if Mac Jones is unable to play and Bailey Zappe is under center.
Zappe came into last week’s game after Brian Hoyer got injured.
He completed 10 of 15 passes for 99 yards.
Detroit might have an explosive offense, but they also have the worst defense in the NFL.
So it will be interesting to see how this matchup goes.
The Patriots will have to run the ball successfully if they want any chance of winning this game.
Either way, this should be a competitive game between two teams looking for their second win.
Los Angeles Rams
Coming off a Monday Night loss to the 49ers, the Rams are on upset alert in Week 5.
They host the Dallas Cowboys and will have an impossible time slowing down that pass rush.
The Cowboys are tied for second in the NFL in sacks and the Rams are giving up 4.0 sacks per game.
Cowboys’ head coach, Mike McCarthy, even seemed surprised that the Cowboys are underdogs,
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy was asked if he ever uses a betting line to motivate team. When told the line was 5 1/2, he asked if Cowboys were ones favored. (Rams are.) Also, quarterback Matt Stafford continues to turn the ball over.
Stafford has thrown four touchdowns and six interceptions this year.
The Rams also seem one-dimensional on offense.
Everything they do well goes through Cooper Kupp, as no other pass catchers are real threats.
The key for Dallas will be to take care of the ball on offense and finish each drive with a kick.
The Rams will have a tough time driving the length of the field consistently and that is where the Dallas defense can get after Stafford.
Dallas has held every opponent this year under 20 points.
If they do that again on Sunday, expect them to come away with an upset victory.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are 2-2 and host their rival, Cincinnati Bengals, in Week 5.
The Bengals are coming off a mini-bye week after playing last Thursday night and should be ready to attack through the air.
Baltimore has been abysmal in the secondary this year.
Marlon Humphrey said it’s humbling to look at the TV and see the Ravens ranking 32nd in pass defense.
“It’s unacceptable,” he said. “It falls on my shoulders.”

They are allowing the most passing yards per game and have blown multiple big leads because of their defense’s inability to stop anyone.
Plus, Cincinnati’s defensive strength is stopping the run.
Which happens to be the strength of the Ravens’ offense.
Lamar Jackson is at his best when he can run wild.
But, the Bengals will be focused on trying to slow down Jackson and that rushing attack.
Expect this game to be very high scoring, as whoever has the ball last has a great chance of pulling off the victory.
