The 2022 NFL season has already seen plenty of breakout performances from the wide receiver position.
There is no reason to expect that will not continue in Week 3.
With so many great wide receivers around the league, it is hard to predict who will dominate.
But, based on matchup and opportunity here are three players that are in for a monster Week 3.
Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders traded for Davante Adams in the offseason because they needed a true WR1.
Now that they have him, expect to see him get plenty of work this week after a quiet Week 2.
Adams was only targeted seven times last game despite getting 17 targets in Week 1.

Expect to see 12+ targets head Adams way this week in Tennessee.
The Titans are coming off a game where they were embarrassed on the road by the Bills.
Also, they allowed Stefon Diggs to score three touchdowns.
The Titans do not have a true lockdown corner and they will struggle to contain Adams.
Plus this is a must-win game for the Raiders as they are in danger of falling to 0-3.
Expect to see Adams involved early and often with a monster statistical performance on the mend.
Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Another team in need of a win is the Cincinnati Bengals.
The reigning AFC Champs are 0-2 and now head to the road to face the New York Jets.
We should expect to see a heavy dose of Ja’Marr Chase in this game.
He will be matched up against rookie cornerback, Sauce Gardner, who has looked great to start his career.
But Chase has shown the ability to get open against the league’s best, as he did all of last season.
The Bengals know Chase is their best offensive player and after a subdued Week 2 it would be a surprise if he was not heavily involved in this week’s game plan.
It would be wise of Cincinnati to move Chase around the formation as well.
Using him in the slot and outside can help create mismatches that the Bengals can exploit.
Chase should be in line for massive volume and production come Sunday.
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons came into this season knowing they were still rebuilding their roster.
Even though Marcus Mariota is not going to be the quarterback of the future, they should feel confident Drake London will be playing at a high level for a long time.
The eighth overall pick in this past NFL draft has been great through the first two weeks of the season.
London has 13 receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown on the year.

Plus, has been the go-to receiving option for the Falcons.
Week 3 should be no different for the rookie.
London and the Falcons head to Seattle to face a Seahawks team that is giving up the seventh-most receiving yards per game.
Atlanta is still looking for their first win and it could come this week with a big game from London.
The rookie found plenty of success against a good LA Rams secondary last week and will look to do that again in Week 3.
Neither the Seahawks nor Falcons are particularly good this year, so this has a chance to be a high-scoring affair.
London should be heavily targeted again this week and the production should follow.
