The Carolina Panthers seem to be headed for a long rebuild.
Having already fired head coach, Matt Rhule, it seems plausible they might start unloading some players.
Baker Mayfield has been bad this year and the Panthers need to find a franchise quarterback.
The best way for them to do that is through the draft.
One way they can load up on draft capital is by trading Christian McCaffrey.
The star running back should have plenty of interest in the trade market.
Plus the 26-year-old running back will be entering his 30s by the time the Panthers are ready to compete again.
Now is the time to move McCaffrey and here are three NFL teams that should be calling.
Buffalo Bills
The top offense in the AFC can become even more explosive with the addition of McCaffrey.
Buffalo is averaging 440.4 total yards per game this season.
Also, they are second in the NFL in points per game with 30.4.
The one spot the Bills struggle is at running back.
They have a committee featuring Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and James Cook leading their backfield.
But, quarterback Josh Allen is their best runner.

McCaffrey is an elite receiver out of the backfield and he can present matchup nightmares for opposing defenses.
Buffalo has come up short of the Super Bowl for a few years now.
But, the addition of a do-it-all RB like McCaffrey could help put them over the top.
Miami Dolphins
Another AFC team that should be interested in McCaffrey is the Miami Dolphins.
This offseason the Dolphins showed they are all-in on Tua Tagovailoa by reloading their offense with Tyreek Hill.
Now with a record of 3-2, the Dolphins can once again make a big move by adding McCaffrey.
Head coach, Mike McDaniel, is a great offensive mind who can unleash McCaffrey unlike what the Panthers can do.
Miami has fallen on tough times of late due to injuries all over their roster.
The Dolphins currently deploy Raheem Mostert, and Chase Edmonds as running back.
McCaffrey would be an upgrade over both of those players and he could help lead this Dolphins team back to the playoffs.
Do not count out the Dolphins to make another splash move this season.
Los Angeles Rams
The reigning Super Bowl champions have struggled to start this season.
With the main reason being their lack of production on offense.
Matthew Stafford is having one of the worst seasons of his career, and he seems too dependent on Cooper Kupp.
The Rams need to add another elite player to their offense.
That is where McCaffrey comes in.
With recent reports that Cam Akers will be stepping away from the team for an unknown amount of time, a void has opened at RB.
Sean McVay says Cam Akers won't be here today (was out yesterday listed as "personal"), and out Sunday. McVay says team is working through the situation, and he also declined to say whether he believes Akers will be a part of the team in the future. "Working through some things."

The Rams are the one team always wiling to trade picks for players that can help them now.
This seems like an obvious move for a Rams team that needs a spark.
Los Angeles currently sits at 2-3 and is in danger of not returning to the postseason this year.
Keep an eye on the Rams to make another splash move that can vault them back into contention.
