The Houston Texans receiver, who the team gave a two-year extension to this season, might be available for trade.
With the Texans out of playoff contention early, they can get more draft capital by trading Cooks.
So if Cooks is on the trading block, which three NFL teams need to call and trade for him?
3. New York Giants
The New York Giants are without a receiver with at least 200 receiving yards this season.
With them needing an explosive receiver, Cooks might fit in.
The Giants clearly felt Kadarius Toney wasn’t the answer for them, so they sent him to Kansas City.
So maybe Cooks can be the answer they need at the wide receiver position.
2. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson is playing for his new contract this season.
With him wanting this new contract, he needs a veteran receiver to help him.
Cooks fits the bill, as he’s coming off consecutive 1,000+ yard seasons with the Texans.
With his six 1,000+ yard seasons during his career, he’s proven how good he is at his position.
Adding him gives Jackson a dangerous weapon to help him in a contract year.
1. Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers has made it clear about the mistakes he’s seeing in Green Bay.
His receiving core is a disaster, leading him to say players making mistakes need their reps cut.

It’s clear he needs a receiver with some talent.
With Cooks, the Packers might save this otherwise disastrous 2022 season.
