Each week in the NFL there are always a few players that come out of nowhere with great performances.
The league seems to be in great hands at the quarterback position.
There are plenty of great passers and dual-threat stars that had big games.
Also, there seems to be a lot of parity in the league this season.
As no team has looked head and shoulders better than the rest of the league.
But, after a great Week 3, here are three players that shined across the league.
Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens
The Lamar Jackson show took over Gillette Stadium on Sunday as Jackson terrorized the New England Patriots.
Jackson had another incredible game in his typical dual-threat ways.
He threw for 218 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 107 yards and one TD.
The former MVP accounted for all five of the Ravens’ touchdowns in Week 3.
Jackson has already scored 12 touchdowns in three games and is on the shortlist of MVP candidates.

In a contract year, the 25-year-old looks unfazed and continues to carry the Ravens each week.
The Ravens look like one of the top teams in the AFC through three weeks and their QB is the main reason for that.
Jackson will face his toughest test in Week 4 as the Ravens host the Buffalo Bills.
But, with the way he is playing it would be a surprise if another huge offensive output was not put forth.
Khalil Herbert, Running Back, Chicago Bears
When the Chicago Bears starting running back, David Montgomery, got injured in the first quarter, all the pressure was on Khalil Herbert to carry the offense.
He was able to do just that on Sunday as he carried the ball 20 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bears are a run-first offense, and that may be an understatement.
Chicago has only thrown 45 passes through three games yet somehow has two wins.
Herbert stepped in on Sunday and led the Bears to victory.

He averaged 7.9 yards per carry and even caught two passes for 12 yards.
The Bears will have serious issues on offense when they are forced to play from behind.
But, until that point, they should use continue to give Herbert a high volume of carries.
Herbert is only 24 years old and he could be the long-term answer at running back for the Bears.
Devonta Smith, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles traded for A.J. Brown in the offseason for him to be their new WR1.
But, in Week 3, Devonta Smith carried that mantle as he recorded eight receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown.
Smith has now led the Eagles in receptions in back-to-back weeks and looks to be the favorite target of QB Jalen Hurts of late.
Philadelphia has seemingly allowed Hurts to throw the ball downfield much more to start this season.
That should help the overall production of all the pass catchers in that offense.
Smith was drafted 10th overall in the 2021 draft with the idea that he could be the Eagles’ WR1.
Well, it certainly looks like he is turning into that through the first three games of this season.
