Week 2 in the NFL was full of great games and great individual performances.
It is still early in the season but some players are starting to separate themselves in the MVP race.
Amongst many great performances in Week 2, there were a few players that stood out from the rest.
Here are three players that shined during Week 2.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins may be one of the most exciting teams in the NFL.
They are led by quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, who had an incredible performance on Sunday.
Tua threw for 469 yards and six touchdowns.

He also led the Dolphins back from a 28-7 halftime deficit.
Tagovailoa may have been the most scrutinized QB heading into this season but he has answered the call through two weeks.
He showed the ability to push the ball downfield and complete a high volume of passes.
It helps that he has Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to throw too.
Each of those receivers had incredible games in their own right catching 11 passes each and surpassing 170 yards.
The Dolphins will face their toughest test of the season in division foe, Buffalo Bills, in Week 3.
That matchup will tell us a lot about Tua and the Dolphins’ chances of making a deep run this year.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions have been looking for their next star wide receiver ever since Calvin Johnson retired in 2015.
They might have finally found their guy in Amon-Ra St. Brown.
St. Brown does not have the size or speed that Johnson had but he is very productive.
On Sunday, the 22-year-old receiver brought in nine passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns.
He even added 68 yards rushing.
The second-year pro continues to dominate the target share in Detroit and has become the favorite WR for Jared Goff.
St. Brown is even setting records that have never been seen before in NFL history,
Amon-Ra St. Brown is now the first player in NFL history to have six consecutive games with at least eight receptions and a touchdown.

He is developing into one of the best WRs in the NFL and he should continue to produce huge numbers.
Look for St. Brown to continue his dominance in Week 3 against the Vikings.
Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys had their backs against the wall as they faced the Cincinnati Bengals without Dak Prescott.
The defense was going to need to step up if Dallas wanted any chance to win.
Thanks to Micah Parsons, that is exactly what they did.
Parsons sacked Joe Burrow two times on Sunday and continues to show why he might be the best defensive player in the NFL.
His speed and power are second to none and he can take over a game at any time.
Through two weeks he leads the NFL in sacks with four.
He is on pace to smash the 13 sacks he had last year, he will even make a run at the single-season record.
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy: “Micah (Parsons) wreaks havoc. He’s definitely a focal point for every one of our opponents. …He’s the definition of an elite player.” pic.twitter.com/stYM15SaKL

Parsons is the best edge rusher in football leading the NFL in pass-rush win rate through two weeks of the season.
His 55.6% win rate ranks first in the NFL.
The 23-year-old is now the betting favorite for defensive player of the year.
He looks to continue his dominance against the Giants in Week 3 on Monday Night Football.
