3 NBA Teams Who Need To Make Moves This Offseason

We are just a few months away from a brand new NBA season.

When the first game tips off you will be seeing a league that is different from the one we have today.

Every offseason brings many changes to multiple teams.

However, this summer might be filled with more than usual.

With numerous teams lacking a lot and quite a few major franchises desperate for refreshes, we may be entering a very busy offseason.

Which teams should be most intent on shaking things up and making some significant adjustments?

Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers are just wasting their time with Damian Lillard.

He’s one of the best point guards alive – a future Hall of Famer for sure.

Yet, his team has only made the Western Conference Finals once and have had quite a few disappointing postseasons.

As Lillard gets older and his desire to win a ring grows stronger, the Blazers should be adamant about moving heaven and earth to change the team in Lillard’s favor.

You can tell they have something up their sleeve: their big trade featuring CJ McCollum earlier in the season was about acquiring some cash and potential for bigger trades soon.

The Blazers might be in the running to land a legitimate superstar to ball alongside Lillard.

They need to because if the next season doesn’t go well, Dame Time might really be over in Portland.

Los Angeles Lakers

Well, this one is a no-brainer, right?

We all know that something has to change with the Los Angeles Lakers.

After the nightmare season they just had, the Lakers are needing to a revamp.

But what will that look like?

It’s becoming more and more likely that Russell Westbrook will be on the team again next season, especially since many coaches currently in the running to lead the Lakers are being asked about how they’ll work with the troubled star.

Yet, the Lakers still need changes.

They’ll get them – one way or another.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis will stay along with Westbrook but anyone else might be sent away.

This team isn’t going to just sit by and watch their remaining time with James drain away.

They will do what they can to offload Westbrook but if that isn’t possible, the front office will still make some big moves.

They quite simply have to.

Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz have finished the last few seasons towards the top of the Western Conference standings but they have still fallen short.

It’s time for a change.

Rumor has it that Rudy Gobert is ready to move on and that’s probably for the best.

As great as they are, Donovan Mitchell and Gobert aren’t making sweet music together for the Jazz.

It remains to be seen who will ultimately be traded and who will be sent to Utah in exchange but there is no doubt that the Jazz are mulling the idea of blowing things up.

From the head coach to the biggest stars, the Jazz might undergo some serious changes in the months ahead.
