With excitement during the NFL preseason, fans can find it in rookie players in the league.
The 2022 NFL Draft was full of interesting picks and some interesting rookies in that draft.
So with the NFL preseason right around the corner, which three rookies are the most interesting to watch?
3. Malik Willis
Malik Willis was a rookie QB many thought would go early during the NFL Draft.
However, he fell in the later rounds of the NFL Draft, landing with the Tennessee Titans.
But not everyone on the Titans roster was happy about the rookie QB joining the team.
Ryan Tannehill made some controversial comments about how it wasn’t his job to mentor Willis.

This now has some fans excited to see Willis replace Tannehill.

With Willis set as the third-string quarterback, fans can only see him during the preseason for now.
However, if he shows everyone that he’s a better quarterback than the other choices in Tennessee, he could move up the depth chart.
But that won’t be the only reason people are excited to see him during the preseason.
What makes Willis an interesting rookie to see is how he performs after what Tannehill did.
Fans want to see the drama unfold on the field and see if Willis can prove he doesn’t need Tannehill’s help in 2022.
2. Adrian Hutchinson
Detroit Lions’ fans are all about Michigan native Adrian Hutchinson.
They are excited about the first big time drafting of a defensive player by the team since Ndamukong Suh in 2010.
However, this buildup of the second overall draft pick of 2022 might fall flat with how Detroit manages their players.
But that doesn’t mean Lions’ fans, or NFL fans will find anything less interesting in him and his preseason debut.
They want to see the defensive powerhouse that helped Michigan University finally defeat their biggest rival, Ohio State, in 2022.
With all the hype that was around him before the NFL Draft, there could easily be just as much hype around him for the preseason.
Everyone knows he’s a starter for the Lions, meaning he’ll get his reps in during preseason.
This gives fans a splendid chance to see him first hand before the NFL regular season begins.
1. Quay Walker
Green Bay Packers fans that are looking for the next Clay Matthews are high on Quay Walker.
I think Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt can impact the #Packers defense the same way BJ Raji and Clay Matthews did.

The product from the University of Georgia fell right into the hands of a needy Packers defense.
With him as the clear starting linebacker for the team, it’s interesting to see how he’ll affect the Green Bay defense in 2022.
While the team was a little above average with their defense last year, the Packers are hoping Walker can take them up a notch.
He’s explosiveness defending the entire field gives fans something interesting to see in a player.
He can cover sideline to sideline and has an athleticism that very few linebackers posses.
All these things make him the most interesting rookie to watch during the NFL 2022 preseason, even if you aren’t a Packers fan.
