The search for an excellent quarterback for NFL teams is dwindling.
But there are still teams out there looking for a starting quarterback for their team.
Some are just looking for a solid backup quarterback for their team.
Nick Foles is one of the few quarterbacks on the free agency market that can fill those needs.
Foles is a former Super Bowl champion quarterback.

He led the Eagles to their first-ever Lombardi trophy back in 2018.
This means he has the experience that many NFL teams need and look for in a player.
That now gives teams a proven quarterback to look at in the free agency market.
So what are the three ideal teams for Nick Foles in this off-season?
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If Foles is looking to be a backup in the NFL, going to the Buccaneers would fit for him.
He would be a good backup for Tom Brady, who will be 45 when the 2022 season starts.
It also allows him to play with star receivers if he is ever needed.
Foles will learn from the best quarterback in the NFL behind Brady.
From 2004, Madden saying Brady is the best qb in football. It's almost like if you watched the games back then, you knew Brady was the best. The fan fiction story of Brady being a game manager in the early years is akin to flat earth theory pic.twitter.com/JkoXkrSjCa

He would serve well as a backup on a team that has Super Bowl aspirations.
The move would also take pressure off Tampa Bay, who will need to replace Brady when he retires.
So a move to Tampa would be a win for all parties involved.
2. Carolina Panthers
If Foles wants to be a starting quarterback again, the Panthers might be a team to look into for him.
The Panthers were looking to acquire Deshaun Watson as their quarterback.
The Panthers spent the last 400 days attempting to trade for Deshaun Watson, Matthew Stafford & dreaming of Aaron Rodgers

But he would choose the Cleveland Browns over the Panthers.
That leaves the team still looking for a quarterback that has a proven history of making the playoffs.
Foles can give this to the Panthers, who have had problems at the quarterback position for the past three years.
He would be a better option than Sam Darnold, who the team traded for last season.
He also has more experience over Darnold, something that might help the Panthers.
A move to sign Foles would be an upgrade for the team.
1. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks need a quarterback to replace Russell Wilson.
The team traded their star quarterback to the Broncos at the start of the NFL off season.
While they have a first-round pick from that trade, it isn’t known if they will draft a quarterback with that pick.
If they do, signing Foles would be their best option.
Drew Lock, the Seahawks’ current quarterback, doesn’t fit the mold of a winning quarterback.
If the team wants to stay in contention in the NFC West this season, hiring Foles might help.
They could have him on a one-year contract to be a placeholder if they draft a quarterback this year or next.
It will also allow Foles to be a clear number one for the Seahawks at the QB position.
That’s why the Seahawks might be the best landing spot for Foles going into the 2022 NFL season.
