The Denver Broncos are headed in the wrong direction.
After starting the season 2-1, they have lost three straight games and have plenty of issues to sort through.
No one expected the Broncos to be this bad after they acquired Russell Wilson in the offseason.
But, nothing has seemed to go right for Denver this year, and here are three changes they need to make.
Move On From Nathaniel Hackett
The move to hire Nathaniel Hackett has backfired on the Broncos’ front office.
As an offensive coach, Hackett is leading one of the worst offenses in the NFL.
One reason for that is the play of their quarterback.
Wilson has been terrible in his first season with the Broncos.
Denver is averaging an NFL-low 15.2 points per game, and they need to make a change.
Trade For A Star Running Back
Trades are usually tough to come by in the NFL, but Denver needs to find a way to help their running back room.
In Week 6, it appeared Melvin Gordon was benched and he was unhappy about it.
With Gordon’s future in Denver looking uncertain, the Broncos should make a move for Christian McCaffrey.
The Panthers are willing to trade their star RB, and the Broncos could use an elite offensive player.
Add Another Quarterback
Through six weeks, Wilson is not getting it done for the Broncos.
Also, he is battling injuries to his shoulder and hamstring.
Our @TomPelissero just reported on NFL Now @nflnetwork that Russell Wilson is getting an MRI on his hamstring today. Could be a "fairly significant" injury.

Denver needs to add another QB in case they feel like Wilson needs a few weeks off.
Brett Rypien is the current backup in Denver and he has only thrown 42 passes in his career.
The Broncos need to find an experienced veteran that can come in and help them win games if Wilson misses time.
Denver is stuck to Wilson as their QB for the next six years, so there is no replacing him.
But, they can at least be prepared if he is forced to miss games.
