The 2022 regular season has officially come to an end.
With the MLB postseason just ahead of us, it’s time for us to look back on some of the greatest moments that took place during the season.
2022 was certainly a year full of milestones from several players.
We had Aaron Judge tie and break Roger Maris‘ American League single-season home run record.
We also had Miguel Cabrera pick up his 3,000th career hit back in May.
Then of course, we had the big one, that being Albert Pujols reaching 700 home runs, becoming a member of an all-exclusive club during one last run in a St. Louis Cardinals uniform.

A Historic Year In Baseball
This has been a year full of great moments and memories that will stay with us for a long time.
The fact that all three of these historic accomplishments took place in the same season is crazy to think about.
But it sure has been a treat to watch for baseball fans in all walks of life.
Not often are you going to see all of this happen in one season.
But it was the perfect time for it, and it could have been just what baseball needed to move past a tough few years that culminated in a lockout last winter.
Things got worked out and baseball came back in style.
Pujols returned to St. Louis for one last run, Judge broke a home run record, and Cabrera reached 3,000 hits.
You can’t ask for much more than that in one season if you’re a baseball fan.
It’s been a fun year for sure.
Now, the postseason begins, and we’ve certainly got a wild ride ahead of us this October.
