The 2022 NFL Draft will start in a week, and front offices feel the crunch in finalizing their strategies.
The draft is always an annual gamble because the prospects could either live up to the hype or feel the pressure of the bright lights.
However, the possibility of improving the team’s fortunes with one pick makes it an exciting but tense ordeal.
That said, ESPN’s Field Yates pointed out an interesting first round for this year’s draft.
8 days until the NFL Draft:
8 teams with 2 1st rounders: Lions (2, 32), Texans (3, 13) Jets (4, 10), Giants (5, 7), Eagles (15, 18), Saints (16, 19), Packers (22, 28), Chiefs (29, 30).
8 teams with no 1st rounder: Rams, Browns, Broncos, Bears, Colts, 49ers, Dolphins, Raiders.

Yates tweeted that eight teams will have two picks each in round one while another eight squads won’t have a selection in the first round.
The Detroit Lions will pick second and 32nd, with the latter pick coming from the Los Angeles Rams as part of the Matthew Stafford trade.
Aside from the third pick, the Houston Texans also own the 13th overall selection because of the Deshaun Watson deal.
The New York Jets will also be picking fourth due to their 2021 record and tenth because of the Jamal Adams trade with the Seattle Seahawks.
Other Teams With Two Picks In Round One
The New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs round up the list of teams with two first-round selections.
If not for a trade with the Saints, the Eagles could have had three picks in round one.
Meanwhile, the Giants received an extra first-rounder courtesy of a trade with the Chicago Bears.
On the other hand, Green Bay added the 22nd overall selection because of the trade that sent Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Finally, the Chiefs got the 29th pick in round one from the Miami Dolphins as part of the Tyreek Hill trade.
The Raiders, Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and San Francisco 49ers do not have first-round picks.
