Damian Lillard’s future with the Portland Trail Blazers is bleak, as he demanded a trade from the organization earlier this summer.
Following his trade request, Dame made it clear that he wants to play for the Miami Heat, if he gets traded from the Trail Blazers.
However, Lillard has yet to get his request fulfilled as the Heat aren’t offering a lucrative enough package.
With the Lillard to Heat trade being at a stalemate, two new teams have emerged as potential suitors for the superstar via NBA Central on Twitter.
The Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls are emerging as potential destinations for Damian Lillard, per @JakeLFischer

The two teams that are planning to make a bid for Lillard are the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls.
Considering both teams are in the Eastern Conference, the Trail Blazers may trade Lillard to either of them.
But Dame may not be interested in getting traded to the Raptors.
After all, they are almost on the doorstep of entering a rebuilding stage.
Keeping that in mind, Lillard may pull a page out of James Harden’s book and not even play for the Raptors if he gets traded to the organization.
On the other hand, a trade to the Chicago Bulls could be beneficial for both parties.
The Bulls have a core of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Lonzo Ball.
Adding Lillard to the core could help them finally end their championship drought that has lasted since 1998.
At the end of the day, Lillard could still force his way to the Heat, but that would certainly put a stain on his reputation as a loyal player in the NBA.
