Fans are dying for the Chicago Bears to make some major offseason moves in 2023.
The fanbase saw an awful team in 2022, one which was gutted by general manager Ryan Poles.
While his moves hurt the defense, the Bears are now in an excellent position to make improvements in 2023.
However, if the Bears want a great season in 2023, they need some surprising moves during this offseason.
So what two moves could the Bears make to surprise everyone?
Trade For Chris Godwin
The Bears hold the number one pick in this year’s draft and have plenty of options with this pick.
While everyone is focusing on the Bears moving back a few spots, they could trade for wide receiver Chris Godwin.
The trade makes sense, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need a quarterback with the retirement of Tom Brady.
Godwin is a solid receiver and only 26-years-old.
A trade for him can give Justin Fields an elite receiver to help him out in 2023.
Trade For Lamar Jackson
People seeing a trade for Lamar Jackson is something beyond believable.
However, this crazy trade idea came from Nick Wright, who has the Bears getting Jackson for Fields.

While an even trade will be the Holy Grail of all trades, it is logical in a way.
The Bears have the money to give Jackson the fully guaranteed money he seeks.
However, it’s not likely the Baltimore Ravens will give Jackson away for Fields.
While Wright’s trade has an even swap, the realistic trade might look more like the Los Angeles Rams’ trade for Matthew Stafford.
Either way, this move is something that would be surprising if it happens.
