New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has not yet made a decision in free agency.
He looms large over the market, as many are projecting him to receive the largest contract in MLB history.

There are a few teams in contention for the right fielder, including the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.
However, it would be smart for Judge to stay right in New York.
Here are two reasons he should re-sign with the Yankees.
2. Marketability
Strictly from a business sense, there is no better place to be than New York.
Every name shines a little bit brighter in the Big Apple, and Judge’s career so far has shown exactly that.
He has elevated himself to superstar status for both the city but also the league in general.
By playing in New York, Judge has become one of the biggest faces of baseball.
That is by no mistake, as New York athletes tend to be looked at most compared to players that are out west or in smaller markets.
As such, Judge may be abandoning a substantial amount of money by heading somewhere else.

1. A Chance To Be A Yankees Legend
It is not easy to become etched in Yankees history.
A trip through Yankee Stadium shows how deep and cherished the team’s history is.
Judge has the opportunity to put his name in that same group, if he stays.
He has the chance to earn a plaque, have his number retired, and possibly enter the Hall of Fame as another one of the great Yankees.
However, this only happens if he stays with the team.
Look at the career path of Robinson Cano who had a similar decision to Judge before the 2014 season.
Rather than staying in New York, Cano took the largest contract and went to play in Seattle.
While he produced for a couple of years, he did so largely in obscurity rather than front and center in New York.
He gave up the opportunity to be honored like past Yankee greats, and it’s something that may have hurt his career.
Judge would be smart to stay, and avoid making that same mistake.
