With the trade deadline just over a month away, teams like the New York Knicks in the middle of the playoff hunt are looking to improve.
There are a number of moves that could help boost the Knicks roster.
As they look to make a playoff run, they should strongly consider trying to pick one of these players up.
Here is a look at two of the potential trade targets.
2. Zach Lavine
The Chicago Bulls are not terrible this season, but they aren’t contenders.
This may push them to be sellers at the deadline.
If they look to shop anyone, the first player on the top of many teams lists will be Zach Lavine.

Lavine would fit perfectly into the Knicks roster, as they are in need of a dependent shooting guard.
This would give the Knicks another scoring threat, as Lavine is averaging 22.4 points per game.
A package would be pricey, and it would likely include a couple of first-round picks and Obi Toppin, the Knicks first round selection from 2020.
However, this would be a win-now move that could help push the Knicks forward.
1. OG Anunoby
The Toronto Raptors also find themselves on the outside looking in for a potential playoff run.
They have talent, but will also likely be looking to move some players at the trade deadline.
OG Anunoby is a stellar defender, and would become an anchor in the Knicks rotation.

He currently leads the NBA in steals per game with 2.2, while also adding in 18.5 points per game.
His price would also be high, but it could be worth it to bring a reliable defender such as that onto the team.
With potential playoff matchups including the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, and Cleveland Cavaliers, having that defensive presence could make a big difference.
