While the team has issues they need to fix, they can’t fix those issues with one pick.
However, they can easily build draft capital if they trade their first overall pick to another team.
With this year’s draft having elite quarterbacks, plenty of teams should call the Bears for their pick.
However, two teams stand out the most for making a call for the number one pick in 2023.
Carolina Panthers
The 2022-23 NFL season saw a dumpster fire on offense for the Carolina Panthers.
This fire was led by the horrible performance of Baker Mayfield.
Without an elite quarterback, the Panthers made several quarterback switches throughout the season.
However, if they want to fix their quarterback issues, they should call the Bears.

Fans already want the Panthers to call for the first overall pick.
With an elite quarterback, the team can start their rebuild on the right footing.
Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders thought Carson Wentz could help lead their team when they got him in 2022.
However, he wasn’t the answer, as he fell victim to an injury by week six.
By the end of the season, he posted a 2-5 record as the team’s starting quarterback.
Most of his starts saw him passing for under 215 yards, something that won’t work in a passing dominated league.
If the Commanders trade for the Bears’ pick, they can finally get their franchise quarterback.
With a defense full of first-round picks, getting an elite quarterback will help bring together all the puzzle pieces for them.
