There are a couple of NFL teams each year that have a good record but everyone is waiting on them to collapse.
It could be due to their quarterback play, weak schedule, or roster construction.
But, usually, there are a few teams that get into the playoffs that are not taken very seriously.
This season there are a few teams that might be of that quality.
Here are two NFL teams that are not as good as their record.
Tennesse Titans
One AFC team that has a winning record and probably should not is the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans have a record of 7-7 on the year, but they should not even be that good.
Titans have lost four in a row. The Jaguars now control their own destiny. Win out and in the playoffs and host a playoff game.

This team has a point differential of -38 on the season and has played a weak schedule.
Of their seven wins on the season, they only have one over a team with a winning record.
They lack any explosiveness on offense, as they go as running back Derrick Henry goes.
Also, they have an abysmal pass defense, ranking worst in the NFL.
If the Titans hold onto the division lead, they should be a one-and-done in the playoffs.
Minnesota Vikings
Somehow through 14 games in the season, the Minnesota Vikings have 11 wins and a +2 point differential.
They win a ton of close games and should consider themselves lucky to have double-digit wins.
Their best win of the season was on the road against the Buffalo Bills, which is very impressive.
But, against the top NFC opponents (Eagles and Cowboys) the Vikings have two losses.
Minnesota looks to be headed for the two or three seed in the NFC and hosting a playoff game.
The #Vikings’ win today means they can be no worse than the No. 3 seed in the NFC. They’ll open the playoffs at home, and if they’re on the road in the second round, the only place they could likely play is San Francisco.

But, any of the Lions, Commanders, or Seahawks could cause them problems in the first round.
An early exit in the playoff seems very likely for the Vikings.
